Group C: Primary school – P4 to P6

This work is inspired by surrealist artist Salvador Dalí. I blended surrealism with nature’s beauty and unpredictability. In the middle, depicts a carnivorous plant that symbolises both allure and danger, echoing Dalí’s exploration of contradictions and conflicts. Surrounding butterflies represent fragility and transformation, the vibrant colors contrast with the plant’s predatory form.
I created a dreamlike atmosphere with smooth blending techniques like Dali on the twisted and melting shapes of the plant, evoking Dalí’s signature dreamlike surreal landscapes, where reality changes and dissolves. Chosen shades of greens, blues, and purples enhances the surreal atmosphere, creating a world where beauty and threat coexist.
Through this work, I seek to capture the strange, surreal harmony found in nature, much like Dalí’s exploration of life and the subconscious in contradictory.

This artwork is inspired by dreamlike style of Ayako Rokkaku, bursts with color and imagination. It features two cute girls floating and playing in an imaginative sky. I apply a few expressive strokes with my fingers reflecting Rokakku signature painting style. The background is filled with flowers and star shaped patterns to create a dreamy atmosphere. I wanted to create my fantasy world like Rokkaku, full of colors , joy and imaginary play.
