“Old mcdonald have a farm”,everybody know this classical nursery rhyme. The story is about a farmer tirelessly working for her farm.

I was inspired by those farming games like “hayday”, “harvest moon” ,and “story of seasons”. In this painting, the girl looks thrilled because this is the most eggs she has harvested all day. Even the chicken in the background was surprised by that. The artwork features a farms house where the girl lives in.

This artwork shows a scenery of Swiss cow farm to capture the essence of a Swiss countryside life, showcasing the harmony between nature and farm life. A large cow stands prominently amidst large green grasslands. The cow is surrounded by green meadow pasture, set against a beautiful alpine backdrop of towering mountains, trees, and a cloudy sky. The cow is painted with meticulous attention to detail, using delicate brushstrokes to bring its brown and white fur to life, creating a striking contrast with the vivid green of the pastures.
I used watercolours for the sky, the mountains, and the trees, however for the big cow, I chose gouache because the gouache’s opacity adds depth and texture. For the green meadow, I used a combination of watercolor and gouache. The base layer of the meadow is painted with watercolor, which provides a soft transparent foundation. To add detail and texture, I overlaid gouache on top to define individual blades of grass.

This is a painting of my favourite animals an I on a farm. I really wanted to paint a colourful sunset before starting on this painting as it brings me great joy. The cat and dog next to me as they are fluffy and of the size that I can cuddle. The thought of this scene brings me great joy.
