Description

This artwork is inspired by Frida Kahlo, exploring themes of identity, nature, and emotion. Like Frida Kahlo, I wanted to express elements my personality through things I love, such as animals, rainbows, sunshine and flowers. I painted myself in a colorful dreamy setting to reflect my feelings and thoughts as a girl, with a touch of Frida Kahlo’s iconic unibrow as a special beauty.
The flowers, giraffe, butterflies, and a cat unicorn represents my favorite things in my world of imagination. The bright colors and swirling patterns connect to my love for nature.
This fun artwork reflects how I see myself as a girl, putting together the beauty of who I am, what I often imagine and feelings of my emotions inside of me.
